What's up everyone , Nice to see you here , This is Mayank Bali. Hope you all are good, absolutely fine & positive (but not corona positive 🙂) Here comes my another post.
This photo was clicked a long time ago, it's from that time when i didn't used to click pictures, infact I use to avoid being captured by camera those days. Cause I wasn't used to be much confident that time and thought I wouldn't be getting good pictures,
cause i judged it in just a few pictures which forced me to avoid camera. Actually not every picture is good what you can do is keep taking a lot of pictures atleast a few will blew your mind, that's the formula i followed from this year. And then I started gaining confident but still there is long way to go , because I couldn't stop at that much , I need to learn new things constantly to become better at it.
Oh sorry! I forgot we were talking about the picture 🙂😂 So this picture is from the Waste to Wonder Park, it is located near hazrat Nizamuddin metro station (Pink Line) , New Delhi. The park consists replicas of our seven wonders of world and the interesting thing about the park is these replicas are made up of waste materials.
1. Statue of Liberty, 35feet high recreated with old bicycle parts , metal sheets and chains
2. Christ the redeemer (Brazil) replicated with old automobile engine
3. Eiffel tower , Used 40 tonnes of vehicle parts to make it 70 feet high
4. Taj Mahal (India) Made up of broken benches and pipes.
5. Colosseum, Made using broken electric poles, metal railings , etc.
6. Leaning tower of Pisa. Having a incline of 60 degrees, created with cycle rims , old iron pipes
7. Pyramid of Giza, Made up of 10 tonnes of scrap angles
So I visited the park on 23 July 2019, So i didn't remember how much was the price of entry ticket at that time, and as of know the ticket price is as follows:
Children below age 3Yrs Free
Children of Age 4-12Yrs 25 Rs
For Age group 13-64 Yrs 50 Rs
Senior Citizens 65≤ Yrs Free
Source for these prices is Financial express, I hadn't visited it again yet. So we can rely on websites only
Timings are 11am -11pm
Though i visited Park in the morning because I'm just a child yet 🙂 I'm not allowed to go out during night. But I think the Park looks much prettier at night as I've seen people posting pictures of night and it looks beautiful because of the lights. One more thing about the Park you would love to know is that the idea of making it came from a Film 'Badri ki dulhaniya' , So we can say it's a filmy project or park 🥲😂.
Tip : For better distinguish between before and after pictures, tap on the picture then at the bottom > tap on picture 1 and 2 accordingly , to swap between original and edited picture.
Editing Breakdown
1. Adobe Lightroom (Available on play store and Appstore ) : The lights looks to be good in this picture , so I kept it as it is , then using curvel tool adding three points i.e. shadows , midpoints & highlights < tapping at bottom of line hold it and bring it slightly up which will give the picture a fade effect. Be particular about the position of this point cause moving it too far can ruin your picture. Then I decreased the value of blacks by -12 and whites by -5.
Tip - While saving the image don't use save to device option and either use "Export as" and set it to largest available dimensions for better quality and then export it as a preset, so in future if you want to know what you had edited in a photograph , you can simply check it by adding picture to the lightroom afterwards.
2. Snapseed (Available on play store and Appstore ) : Then I increased the contrast by +14 and saturation by +23 as colours in the picture was looking faded. Then using selective tool i first selected the ground and decreased its brightness by -17 , then I selected the trees which is seen behind me and decreased their brightness too. Then using dodge and burn tool i brushed dark areas around by hands by -0.5 burn to make it more contrasting.
Tip : For better output quality click 3 dots , go to settings , look for format and quality and choose the value 100%
