Hello! This is Mayank Bali. Hope you all are taking covid precautions as number of covid cases are increasing these days. Follow all protocols and stay safe stay at home (if possible). Here comes my another postππ»
This photo is of Gurugram DLF Phase 3. It's a roof top of a building where I'm standing in the picture. Infact it's above the roof where they had set the water tank and dish antennas. So when i didn't had a idea for new location, I thought of clicking pictures at our rooftop and When i went to roof, at first it was not much suitable for shooting photos, but then i saw a place above the roof and i knew that there would be an amazing view for sure, cause it wouldn't be having any obstruction that may had not allowed me to have a bird eye view. And also because the great view comes with the hardest climb π no I didn't used rope to climb there , i used ladder only. The quotes suits well here that's why i had written it, nothing else. So then i climbed the ladder and view there was much impressive even than expected. It may not look that good in the picture because of low lights but it was more beautiful in real as compared to this picture, the whole phase 3 city was visible from there , i could see birds flying and hear also. And I don't know why but this picture looks like king kong movie last seen to meπ₯². After a couple of minutes of gazing the view I started clicking pictures for what I had climbed there , the picture didn't had much details cause it was too late to click pictures there as it was time of dusk and I was using Android phone which will not give good results in improper lightning condition and i even didn't had any artificial light there so i couldn't get a better picture at that time. The roof is the highest point from where I had seen a sunset as of now. I also want to know the highest point you guys have been to, please tell in the comments section below. I climbed up and down many times and for one time a person got eyes on me and looked like what am i doing above, cause i think no one used to go their cause it even didn't had boundary.ππ€
Disclaimer: Don't sit on edge at such high locations for looking cool or anything else , everybody here has a different role in the world and there is always someone waiting for you at home. Its totally wrong to risk your life risk for just getting some pictures and i even didn't went too close to the edge. I even didn't looked down from there , I just gazed the sky and the city. Actually its not about just this picture you shouldn't risk your life for any pictureπ€
After clicking some pictures it became darker there but the beauty didn't ended there, the lights of buildings was looking like stars from there and the view was amazing. I also recorded that view in a video posted on instagram Click here for watching it.
Editing Breakdown
1. Adobe Lightroom (Available on play store and Appstore ) :
The original picture was a much darker, so first of all I did light correction - increasing shadows and exposure but still the edited photo is darker π because the original picture didn't had much details so in this case increasing more brightness was not giving good results. Then i increased the contrast in the picture. I didn't used vignette cause the background had only sky and adding vignette in sky doesn't looks nice
Tip - While saving the image don't use save to device option and either use "Export as" and set it to largest available dimensions for better quality and then export it as a preset, so in future if you want to know what you had edited in a photograph , you can simply check it by adding picture to the lightroom afterwards.
2. Snapseed (Available on play store and Appstore ) :
Then using selective tool, i selected the sky part just above my head and increased the brightness keeping the centre circle small so to make just the cloudy parts more bright and giving a contrast to the picture.
Tip: For better output quality click 3 dots , go to settings , look for format and quality and choose the value 100%
