Helloo , Nice to see you here , This is Mayank Bali. Hope you all are good, safe , happy and hydrated cause the temperature is too high in Delhiπ. Here comes my another post
Tip : For better distinguish between before and after pictures, tap on the picture then at the bottom > tap on picture 1 and 2 accordingly , to swap between original and edited picture.
On my way to exploring new locations, I went on a road near aravali biodiversity park (about which we had talked in a previous post) without any clue where it takes us π§ and walked the whole road atleast 2km in the hope to get perfect place for clicking pictures but still the road didn't ended and anything good ahead wasn't looking there, so i walked back and stopped at that curve of road where traffic was less. I forgot to mention the location is Sikanderpur pahadi , though i didn't went to that pahadi I just clicked pictures on the road besiding it. I searched it on map to give you an idea of location , cause i didn't knew about it. I tried taking videos of sun peeking from plants as it gives an aesthetic view. Then finally I started clicking pictures tried a few poses which i saw others doing for their instagram, as there was tree above my head I tried pose looking to the tree but it didn't came that good. Then i tried sitting pose again it was not that good cause it was the afternoon time and sunlight was harsh at that time. Then i tried jumping poses it also didn't worked and I selected the above picture to be best out of them.
Disclaimer : Important thing to keep in notice while clicking pictures at road is that you have to be very careful about the traffic passing by to avoid any mis happening, cause road accidents happen at difference of just a second while overtaking or passing by side. And also be careful about your belongings specially mobile and cameras from being snatched π
So here also i brought my tripod which I'm using from years and set it to its minimum height to get a low angle for the picture , so that i can capture the tree behind me also. As it's an afternoon picture and sun was brightner that time due to which I couldn't give good expressions in this picture and my hairs was also not good.
Editing Breakdown
1. Adobe Lightroom (Available on play store and Appstore ) :
At first in the light correction part I increased picture's exposure to +0.48, increased contrast by +6 , decreased highlights by -32 , increased shadows by +38 , whites by +5 , blacks by -14. Then in colour grading I increased vibrance by +14. Then in colour mix I selected green colour and decreased its hue -100 and increased saturation by +100
Tip - While saving the image don't use save to device option and either use "Export as" and set it to largest available dimensions for better quality and then export it as a preset, so in future if you want to know what you had edited in a photograph , you can simply check it by adding picture to the lightroom afterwards.
2. Snapseed (Available on play store and Appstore ) :
Then i blurred the background using Lens blur tool changing its vignette and transition to zero and blur strength to a near of 5 as the picture didn't had much details , so blurring it with a high strength would gave bad results. And then I did skin smoothning using lens blur option. Changing its vignette and transition to null and blur strength of around 4 and then going to view edits > lens blur> brush and painting it on my face except eyes, nose, eyebrows , mouth ,etc so it don't blur the whole face π. Then using healing tool I fixed my hairs by brushing it on hairs and erasing extra parts. Because my hairs were looking totally messed up in the picture. Still on the edge ny hairs was not looking good so I imported the picture again brushed the area using healing tool and erased from other parts. But hairs didn't turned out to be that good , but I did what was possible for me to do.
Tip: For better output quality click 3 dots , go to settings , look for format and quality and choose the value 100%
