This photo is of a park in Gurugram named "Aravali Biodiversity Park". No i didn't knew this place before , but one day I was at home and looking for our next photoshoot location and i didn't had much time so I looked for place which falls nearest and I found this park on map and picked up my equipments and video gears (mobile phone and tripod 🥲) all in a single polythin, I also checked the park's images people have uploaded on the map and their reviews about the park and the environment and then I dressed up for the photoshoot and headed to the park. Now you would be asking is there any ticket required , online or offline. So you don't need a ticket just go in there. Ya Entry is Free 😌, It's good for morning walk or spending some time in midst of Greenery and chirping of birds. And you would also found peacocks there and many other birds too. You can go there with family also it has a nice environment and when i went there it was not much crowded , i might had walked half of the park and more than 60% place was empty , if anyone came they kept walking so i didn't got disturbed or interrupted and enjoyed the time spending alone in the greenery and nature. Though I planned this visit but still i spend a lot of time there finding best place to click pictures i made videos of plants and trees , and as soon my clock said to be 5pm I started packing my things again in a polythin and then walked the whole route back as I didn't knew any other way to go out and I was supposed to be at home soon so I didn't even looked for any other way going outside. Now you would be asking what are the timings in which you can visit there. Here we go
So Timings are :
Nov-Feb (6am -Full Day*)
Mar - Oct Morning (5:30am-11:00am) & Afternoon (3pm-7pm)
*as written on board there , visited 2022 Feb 23
I know we believe less on words and more on what our eyes see , So if you want to have a view of the Aravali park, I had made a mini vlog kind video of it during my visit and I had posted it on instagram too, so go ahead and check the video here is your Link
Though I clicked many photos in the park but we gonna talk about only one photo in this blog. At a curve there i found sun coming between the trees and thought of clicking a picture, an underexposed one as facing camera towards sun would give a underexposed picture, so i intentionally clicked it dark. So now comes the editing part of this picture
Editing Breakdown
1. Adobe Lightroom (Available on play store and Appstore ) :
The photo had a dark theme so we will not increase its brightness or shadows this time , but i made a fade effect using curve tool adding three dots shadows, midtones and highlight then tapping at the bottom point and lifting it a little up to add fade in the picture. Then in curve tool choosing blue colour I bring the highlight point a little down so to make highlights colour yellow as seen in the picture, bringing the point too low or too high would ruin your picture so be particular about it. Then using colour tool i change the leaves' colour and made it even more darker
Tip - While saving the image don't use save to device option and either use "Export as" and set it to largest available dimensions for better quality and then export it as a preset, so in future if you want to know what you had edited in a photograph , you can simply check it by adding picture to the lightroom afterwards.
2. Snapseed (Available on play store and Appstore ) :
Then I imported the photo in Snapseed and decreased highlights by -25 , decreased shadows by -10 then tried blurring background thinking it would give a bokeh effect but it didn't worked much, so i exported the picture without doing blur.
Tip: For better output quality click 3 dots , go to settings , look for format and quality and choose the value 100%
