This photo is of a street in Gurugram DLF Phase 3 having trees planted in the sides , giving me a nice background for the picture😌. I clicked this picture on my phone using a standard tripod to its minimum height, as I wanted to have a low angle for this image. As seen its a day time picture so from in between the trees sunlight was coming from side on my face. Like all my photoshoot of that time this picture was also not planned i just got out with my equipments(tripod and mobile🙂) at that street and tried taking a picture there. I'm wearing the mask in the picture too so you should wear mask when you got out of your home. To be honest I'm wearing because it hides half of our expressions. so if i didn't gave good expression for the picture then also it would not be an issue 

After spending around 10-15 minutes for getting the best picture out of there. I took this picture. I'm not saying its best one can take at such location but what i could at that time. Because meanwhile a person came to me and asked whether I'm recording a video for reels, i said I'm clicking picture 😷 and waited him to go, tried clicking 2-3 photos more and then i moved to the another location. Photos of another location will Obviously come in another post. So for now let's focus on this picture and post

As i told in the previous post I am trying to manage my time efficiently so that it makes me more active on social media platforms and for also saving my time i spend in editing and scrolling social media etc. So I think I'm now on the right path for Achieving my goal and I'm trying to minimise the time taken for editing but at no compromise with the quality. But still there are possibilities in which i may fall to save my time so we can just hope for the best for now.

Editing Breakdown

1. Adobe Lightroom (Available on play store and Appstore ) :

First of all i did light correction using curve tool as light was coming from my one side and other side was darker.Then i did Colour grading by using colour mix tool, I selected all colours one by one and then changed their hue and saturation to 0 except the orange colour as it's the colour of our skin changing its saturation to zero will gave us a black and white image.

Then i increased vignette in the picture increased its feather and roundness too, so to make the borders darker and with a smooth transition. Then using mask tool added a linear gradient to the bottom and decreased its exposure to make it darker so our subject that's 'Me' get more focus as compared to other parts of the picture

Tip - While saving the image don't use save to device option and either use "Export as" and then export it as a preset so if you want to know what you had edited in a photograph , you can simply check it by adding picture to the lightroom afterwards. And set it to largest available dimensions for better quality

2. Snapseed (Available on play store and Appstore ) : 

Then i tried blurring the background using Lens blur tool but it was not looking much nice in this picture , so i choosed a low blur value for this picture changing its vignette and transition to zero and blur strength to a of 2. Then I did skin smoothning using lens blur option Changing its vignette and transition to null and blur strength of around 5-6 and then going to view edits > lens blur> brush and painted it on my face except eyes, nose, eyebrows , mouth ,etc so it don't blur the whole face 🙂 and just soften the skin and at the last i cropped the image to aspect ratio of 4:5 as it's suitable for instgram.

Tip: For better output quality click 3 dots , go to settings , look for format and quality and choose the value 100%
