Metro - View from the window 😍

Welcoming you all to my blogger page. Nice to see you here, This is Mayank Bali. Hope you all are doing well and are absolutely safe. This is my another post

" View from the window 😍 "

Posted on 25 Feb - This picture was clicked in the metro , thanks me later for telling 😂. I was going somewhere , I didn't remember where because this picture was clicked in July 2021🥲. Actually this picture is a candid shot it captured me while using the phone , but I liked this one and probably this is my only photo I had of 2021. And then you know i started clicking photos in 2022. Do you know? 🥲

So everyone knows how important the metro is nowadays, it had became a part of our routine life we use metro for our day to day commune , for random trips , for outstation and wherever the metro can take us and hence it is called lifeline of Delhi. Though photography is not allowed in metro , but this is Delhi bro! Metro is used for our personal photoshoot every minute 24*7😂. But we did follow covid guidlines no, not because of corona virus but because of high price of challans 🥲. There are number of metro stations in delhi but few are most popular, one of them is Kashmere gate and we recognise Kashmere gate station less by announcement and more when everyone in the coach starts preparing themselves for leaving their seats and i thinks that's beautiful 😂.

Infotainment: Apart from this i want to tell you all that in Delhi metro there are peak off hours which is 12pm (noon) - 5 pm during which if you travel using a metro card your fare will be 20% lesser. And in non peak hours still there's a 10% off on fare using metro card and token are supposed to charged normally.

Watching outside from the window is my favourite thing about the metro. That's why this post got titled ' view from the window ' and my caption too. In our day to day hustle we forgot to stop for a while, take a break and appreciate the beauty of nature and thank god for giving this beautiful life and blessings. And in metro we're always using our phone and are busy in our social media world whether scrolling reels or sending texts or talking selfies , etc and in midst of this we miss those beautiful glimpses of nature from the window and keep going on. The view from the window should never go unnoticed.

What's Your favourite thing about metro?

Share in the comment section below. You can also tell about your different experiences in the metro and anything you want to tell just feel free to share.

Ohhh! I remembered now where i was going in the metro. That time I was going to aadhar centre for getting my Aadhar card updated. Now pls don't ask for showing aadhar card photo because they didn't edited my photo before printing 🙂 and we all know they have very high end cameras and how much they have downgraded our pictures.

Editing breakdown

I used only one app in editing this picture cause it needed not much to be edited.

1. Snapseed (Available on play store and Appstore - Ios users Click here) :

First of All I did light correction - increasing a bit of shadows (Shadows are darker part of your image). Then i increased the ambience in the picture to some extent. To make the colors better and more eye catching. Then i blurred the background using Lens blur tool changing its vignette and transition to zero and blur strength to a near of 10. And then going to view edits > lens blur > brush > erasing the effect from Me so it blur the background only. Blurring background in your picture separates the subject from the background and make it pop and therefore viewers will get focus more on the subject. Not only this blurring background makes light sources softer, like in this picture it soften the metro lights and make it look more aesthetic. If the source of light is smaller than blurring it will give you a bokeh effect. The metro gate was too brighter than other part of picture so i decreased its brightness by decreasing all over brightness first and then selecting only the gate by using brush from view edits

Tip: For better output quality click 3 dots , go to settings , look for format and quality and choose the value 100%

I didn't used PicsArt or Lightroom in this picture Because it was not needed nothing else 🙂

Hello guys this is Mayank Bali. Hope you all are doing good. Though we are habitual to the Delhi's high temperature, still it makes us feel low or exhausted 🙂. So Drink water frequently and also try every possible way to save water. Here comes my another post Tip : For better distinguish between before and after pictures, tap on the picture then at the bottom > tap on picture 1 and 2 accordingly , to swap between original and edited picture. So this picture is also of a long time ago. Hopefully the month would be January as I visited punjab during that time of year for attending a relative's wedding which was going to be held there. As we all now the lifestyle of Punjab and Delhi is very different from each other's , but the both has a separate feeling and place in our hearts. The simplicity of Punjab never runs out of fashion and has always been a heart throb. Sleeping under the stars on cot (also known as 'Charpai' and 'manja' by the locals living the...

Picture at Bridge 🐒

Hola everyone , How is your day going? This is Mayank Bali. Hope you all are taking covid precautions as number of covid cases are increasing these days. Follow all protocols and stay safe stay at home (if possible). Here comes my another post This photo is of a bridge in Gurugram DLF Phase 3 near GuruDronacharya Metro Station (Yellow line) 🚈 . So i was looking for next location for taking pictures and I saw this bridge and it also seems not to be used much by public and nobody came there during the whole time, i must have spent around 15-20 minutes. Why i choosed a bridge for clicking pictures? Because I have seen other editors posting picture shoot at bridges and it seems convincing to me , so i thought to give it a try, but the results didn't came similar to them 🙂 but whatever I'm an android user so the picture can't be good everytime but it doesn't mean Android cameras don't have potential to click awesome pictures. But it needs more suitable lightning to t...
