Whats up everyone , This is Mayank Bali Welcome back to my blogger page. Hope you all are doing well and are absolutely safe.
So Here comes my next post
"Just Enjoy the journey 😍✌🏻"
I found a travel vibe in this picture and loved it, this picture is from my way to home. While going to home I liked the view there on that road and stopped there for a while , put my cycle on stand picked my phone out of pocket and leaned it on the cycle stand for taking picture, you can see cycle tyre in the original picture. Set the angle and timer and posed for the photograph. I don't know its exact location, Weird? But it's the truth 🥲 because I was just following Google map , Sometimes (most of the time) even I don't from where the map is taking me.
Disclaimer - While clicking photo on a running road make sure you don't go in the middle of road to avoid any mis happening. I kept an sharp eye on the traffic too and you should also be very careful always click picture in that duration when cars are not coming to your side.
Its original picture and edited picture had much difference, the picture was actually uploaded on 18 Feb on instagram and I'm uploading this blog on 1st April , no I'm not making you april fool ; if you don't trust me guys 🙂 you can check this on my Instagram @mayankbali_ And one more thing the picture was clicked on January 18 , Now you will say, What is this behaviour , Am i right? 🧐
But this is me 😌 I clicked a lot of photos in January and kept them in my gallery for a long time before they got edited and posted. Actually I've still some photo or videos of January which I didn't edited and are yet to come. The reason is my gallery felt like a well to me and I didn't knew how deep it is and feared what happens if i fall into it. Let me explain it to you in simple words 😂 that time i couldn't manage time to edit pictures and i wanted to be consistenty active on instagram. So, when i had a few ready to post pictures I started posting them and then editing and posting all came into my routine. But still I'm unable to manage time efficiently 🙂
So I started blogging in march and For now I'm trying to post a blog every week. So I'm currently trying to manage my Instagram along side with blogger, When i would be good in managing both I may increase the frequency of my posts on both the platforms.
Editing Breakdown
1. Adobe Lightroom (Available on play store and Appstore - Ios users Click here) : The original picture I shot is very under exposed. So, first of all I did light correction : increasing brightness and shadows in the picture. Then using mask tool I drawed a radial gradient on the subject that's me and then inverted the gradient means selecting area except me. And increased the clarity a bit to make the road and traffic pop, Then my face was too dark in the picture so using mask tool drawed another radial gradient only on my face and increased its brightness by a little number.
Then i did Colour grading : using colour mix selected green colour and changed it to a hue of -100 and saturation +100 , which changed the colour of plants seen in the right side of image from green to a little brownish. Which gave an amazing autuym type vibe to image. Then in colour grading I changed Highlights' colour to a very little brownish - orange colour so to give the picture a sunset type vibe.
Tip - While saving the image don't use save to device option and either use "Export as" and then export it as a preset so if you want to know what you had edited in a photograph , you can simply check it by adding picture to the lightroom afterwards. And set it to largest available dimensions for better quality
2. Snapseed (Available on play store and Appstore - Ios users Click here) : Then i blurred the background using Lens blur tool changing its vignette and transition to zero and blur strength to a near of 10 -15. And then going to view edits > lens blur > brush - erased the effect from the cars in the background cause i wanted them to appear in the photograph but i kept blur effect on their head lights to make the light softer and give the picture a realistic feel. Then my hairs was not good in this picture so i removed those hairs at the top left by using healing tool.
