Excuses - Khendi Hundi Si...

Hey ya Everyone, Welcome back to my blogger page. Hope you all are doing well and are absolutely safe. Here comes my another post , means another story ; You must have heard that line till now

"Khendi Hundi Si Chann🌝 Tak Raah Bana De... "

It's from the song "Excuses" by AP Dhillon and it not needs to be told the craze of that song. Actually it is spreading more than corona virus πŸ˜‚ and is stuck in our heads from months and we are repeatedly listening it where ever we go. As you know we came across this song too often while scrolling our social media.

So for that reason I wanted to make a picture representing that line of the song told above. At first I thought of clicking a picture and adding moon to it later on in post processing or in simple language editing. But! When I took the step out for clicking some pictures, at nowhere else but my roof top. It didn't required moon to be added in editing , want to know why? Here we go🧐

How I took the picture?

First of all I placed a basic tripod at my roof and then climbed up to where i was going to pose for the picture. Done with the timer and angle , sat on the edge, then I took out another phone held it in one hand and turned its flash on pointing slightly towards phone taking picture and also keeping some light on my face. And folded another hand to make a pose

Boom! 😏 The mobile flash apperared to be moon. And no other light was used in taking the picture.

How i edited the picture?

The photo was already good and insta worthy and it needed not to be edited much. I used mainly 2 apps in editing this photo:

Snapseed (Available on play store and Appstore - Ios users Click here)

The jacket I am wearing in the photo felt too bright to me. So using selective tool keeping its centre size small as to cover only my jacket , I reduced a bit of brightness and increased the contrast to make the details more sharper.

PicsArt (Available on playstore and Appstore - Ios users Click here)

I added 4 stars in the photo the 5th one came from the mobile flash as a lense flare. So in PicsArt i added the png of stars , zoomed the picture and cut 2 stars from it ; changed blending mode to screen erased all areas except white dots of star and then duplicated it to make 4 stars.

Some Tips below :

1. Don't wear black or dark clothes. Yes! you heard it right, Because It would absorb the light (jeans' colour is not an issue for such pictures)

2. Try different angles and height of your hand to find best ones

So, What are you wating for? go outside and click some good pictures for your Instagram or social media.

Behind the scene

I had posted a behind the scene video of all things explained above , so to make it more understandable to you

So Drink water frequently and also try every possible way to save water. Here comes my another post Tip : For better distinguish between before and after pictures, tap on the picture then at the bottom > tap on picture 1 and 2 accordingly , to swap between original and edited picture. So this picture is also of a long time ago. Hopefully the month would be January as I visited punjab during that time of year for attending a relative's wedding which was going to be held there. As we all now the lifestyle of Punjab and Delhi is very different from each other's , but the both has a separate feeling and place in our hearts. The simplicity of Punjab never runs out of fashion and has always been a heart throb. Sleeping under the stars on cot (also known as 'Charpai' and 'manja' by the locals living the...

Picture at Bridge πŸ’

Hola everyone , How is your day going? This is Mayank Bali. Hope you all are taking covid precautions as number of covid cases are increasing these days. Follow all protocols and stay safe stay at home (if possible). Here comes my another post This photo is of a bridge in Gurugram DLF Phase 3 near GuruDronacharya Metro Station (Yellow line) 🚈 . So i was looking for next location for taking pictures and I saw this bridge and it also seems not to be used much by public and nobody came there during the whole time, i must have spent around 15-20 minutes. Why i choosed a bridge for clicking pictures? Because I have seen other editors posting picture shoot at bridges and it seems convincing to me , so i thought to give it a try, but the results didn't came similar to them πŸ™‚ but whatever I'm an android user so the picture can't be good everytime but it doesn't mean Android cameras don't have potential to click awesome pictures. But it needs more suitable lightning to t...
